Main applications
Bottle preformsBottles are first injection-moulded as preforms and then blown into bottle shape.
Polyester fibre and fabricPolyester fibre, made from this same polymer, is used in fabric and clothing.
Recycled bottle flakeUsed bottles are crushed and reused as raw material.
