Epic is the registered brand of Polymer Plast Zeinali Co. in Tehran, Iran. We produce and supply polymer compounds and granules for automotive, home-appliance, electrical, construction and packaging parts — with a datasheet for every grade.

Choose your polymer type

Four numbers decide the grade

• MFI (melt flow index): How freely the melt flows. A higher MFI fills thin, complex moulds more easily, usually at the cost of impact strength. An MFI is meaningless without its test condition (temperature and load).
• Ash (filler content): The share of mineral filler. It moves stiffness, shrinkage and cost; Epic adjusts it from 5 % to 80 %.
• Density: Rises with filler content and sets the weight of the part. Compare price per kilogram multiplied by density, not price per kilogram alone.
• Impact vs. stiffness: The two are always traded against each other; the grade is chosen from what the part does, not from one number.

From need to grade in four steps

1. Tell us the part and the process: injection, extrusion or blow moulding.
2. Tell us your priorities: strength, MFI, colour, filler content.
3. Receive the suggested grade or grades with an Epic datasheet; values are typical, the final choice rests with the technical specialist.
4. We arrange the sample and the next steps.
